WHAT OUR CLIENTS SAY
The K+A team in the US and Europe created a roadmap for our team on reaching out to new donor audiences in six European countries. K+A mapped out concrete cultivation strategies as well as marketing opportunities in order to position our work among European philanthropic audiences. The roadmap turned out to be extremely helpful for us in jumpstarting our European resource mobilization. I very much enjoyed working with Gisela.
Robin Abell, Freshwater Lead, Global Strategy Group, Conservation International (2019)
Gisela and Robin from K+A did an outstanding job in building the capacity of our team in international fundraising from private sources. My team and I felt that they truly cared. The fundraising marketing plan as well as the fundraising tools K+A prepared and introduced -- including prioritized prospect research, a case for support, donor cultivation strategies, and a moves management system – proved to be very effective. Perhaps most importantly, through our five-month work with K+A we developed the necessary self-confidence, know-how, and curiosity to embark on our global fundraising journey.
Barbara Schreiner, Executive Director, Water Integrity Network, Berlin (2020)
K+A did an outstanding job in analyzing the US world of philanthropy in the area of child protection for us. The opportunities, strategies, and also challenges K+A pointed out to us have helped us tremendously. I appreciate my trusted relationship with Gisela. She goes above and beyond of what the terms of reference say. I hope we’ll work with Gisela again in the future.
Arelys Yanez, Manager of Institutional Fundraising, Terre des Hommes, Netherlands (2019)
"A US fundraising SWOT analysis Gisela prepared in 2012 piqued our curiosity. Like any international development organization, we’re naturally always interested in diversifying fundraising income. But for this to be successful, a few things needed to be in place: we needed somebody like Gisela who has in-depth experience and can navigate US-European cross-cultural challenges. We also needed somebody who was a good fit for Helvetas. And we needed somebody we felt comfortable representing us in the US."
